Special thanks to Gymboree for the holiday looks featured in this post and for extra incentives.
It’s the most wonderful time of the yeeeeear! Bear may have had us listening to Christmas music for the past 10 months (there’s never an “off season” for holiday music in her mind), but now is the time to start celebrating the season! To kick it off, we partnered with Gymboree to create a #OneBigHappy family holiday look.
Gymboree: One Big Happy
Whether it’s her first visit from the tooth fairy, the annual family campout, spontaneous dance parties, or jumping into a pile of leaves, Gymboree is there to celebrate all of life’s happy moments, big and small. Gymboree is proud to dress the moments that matter most – offering everything from quality playwear that stands the test of [play]time to creatively coordinate dressy looks for the perfect family photo.
I’ve shared in the past how my love for Gymboree grew strong (like super loyal strong) when I found out I was pregnant with a girl. I would spend my lunch breaks at the Gymboree store up the road from my work nearly every day, picking out matching bows and socks and little size 0 shoes that Bear would wear once. It was such a special time in my life and I treasure that feeling of excitement, which is one of the reasons I still shop at Gymboree to this day.
The head-to-toe looks (from precious sparkly shoes to a giant bow headband) are what makes Gymboree my go to place for special occasions. Any time a photo opp comes up (Santa, school, or family portraits), Gymboree is my first stop. Bear’s preschool pic – Gymboree dress. Their Santa photo last year – Gymboree. So it’s no surprise that this year Gymboree was our one-stop shop again. They have an adorable line of holiday looks, from red and black plaids to teal, gold and sparkles. Adorbs.
Here are the coordinating looks we chose for Holiday 2016.
Do you think I have a little fashionista on my hands?
We plan to make the most out of these outfits (it saddens me that they grow out of clothes so quickly, so my objective is to get multiple uses of my favorite seasonal clothes). They’ve already worn these to a birthday party and we’ll pull them out of the closet for their Santa visit, Christmas dinner and church.
The “fur” stole, glitter purse, and bracelet? Those will go directly into the dress-up bin after the holidays! She and her friend have already started to play dress-up with these accessories.
